Quest Diagnostics Grand Blanc Holly - Employer Drug Testing Not Offered

Had to get blood drawn at the beginning of February for a physical. I saw a bad review on here complaining about unfriendly staff and treatment of a customer’s kids. I decided to go anyway and take my kids. I wanted to give my son and daughter some experience and exposure to the blood drawing process so it could lower their anxiety about it themselves, and I figured I could do that with or without the help of task-focused staff. The workers — at least the ones I had — read into what I was doing and were awesome. I’m sure it helps that my kids (4 and 7) are respectful and well behaved, if talkative. My experience: fast, efficient, painless, and super friendly.

Both the receptionist and the phlebotomist were very pleasant. I did not have an appointment, and I was still in and out in under 15 minutes. I was also impressed by the phlebotomist because she was able to stick me and draw blood right away. My veins tend to move around, so that generally does not happen.

Was there for maybe 10 minutes. It was a very fast apt, got there, checked in, they drew my blood and I was out. Front desk Staff was nice, The woman that drew my blood was very nice, and her performance was excellent. It was my first time going and I would choose this place again if I needed to.

No stars. I only gave 1 because I had to. I am a Home Care nurse. Drew my pts blood them had to drop it off here because the Porter Rd Quest was closed. Receptionist was extremely rude. Made me wait 25 minutes with a drop off. Told her the specimens needed to be spun down, they never spun my labs down so much blood draw was for nothing. Have to go back to pts home again tomorrow and explain to her what happened and redraw her labs. Rude and unprofessional. Disgrace to the Medical profession. I will drive 15 miles out of my way to drop off labs at another location next time

These people are awesome!! All of the staff are professional, efficient, and competent! Cant believe the phlebotomist can get into my vein either! Ive been to many other locations and all the other people who tried dig and dig and almost make me pass out! Do yourself a favor and come to this location, even if it is out of your way! Its well worth it!! Great job guys!!!

This is by far the worst quest I have ever been to. The receptionist and phlebotomist were so rude. I was in to get my sons blood drawn and the receptionist had an attitude towards my son for just touching the glass window. Then the phlebotomist came out to ask for my insurance card again and told me I needed to watch me kids. Remind you my kids were running around but not getting into things. Then we get back into the back and they said are you sure you can watch your kids and help with your son. my kids are younger and very curious, and of course as we are in the middle of the blood draw my daughter is messing with the drawers and the phlebotomist says there are needles in that drawer and she cant be playing over there. Okay I get that, but I am in a chair holding my son while he is getting his blood drawn. You are telling me one couldnt distract the kids while I was helping with my other son. For the love I am a single mom of 5 kids. And anywhere else I go they have the routine of someone to distract the kids while I help with what needs to be done. To top it off they couldnt get all the blood they needed to so they told me I will need to come back. Needless to say I will NOT be going back to that location! And the one star is just because I have to have one.

Had a appointment at 8:30 this morning and preregistered in full. Got there at 8:21 and registered and sat down.They took two people in front of me with no appointments. Then at 8:35 they called me up to say now i am registered just so they could put two people in front of me that had no appointments, have to ask what is the sense in making a appointment when they wont keep them.

Older parents stopped in for blood work earlier today. Extremely rude front deskpersonnel. Very snippy. Perhaps a lesson on customer service would be helpful.

HORRIBLE service and customer service!! I had an appointment and arrived prior to my appointment and they waited on everyone except me even those with appointments after me......ironic I was the only minority......
